Longtime lurker here, We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $90,715 in South Laurel. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for South Laurel? Appreciate any input.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

I'm a writer and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.
