Remote worker thinking about South Miami Heights
Hi all, I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 12.4%, which is around average. Household incomes average around $64,657 in South Miami Heights. Homes are going for about $357,000 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thoughts? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
