Hey everyone, I relocated for work and With a population of 20,547, South Milwaukee is a small town. Rent is about $1,014/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -South Milwaukee sits at 139.9 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I overthinking this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up.
