What's it really like living in South Portland?

OK so I'm a remote worker and With a population of 26,780, South Portland is a smaller city. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Anyone in a similar situation? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much established but now it's underrated.
