Dog-friendly places in South San Gabriel?

Hey folks, I'm single, late 50s, and Median household income is $76,921, which feels about average for the area. Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from San Diego about 8 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is pretty good.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
