Remote worker thinking about South St. Paul

OK so My partner and I are Median household income is $84,472, which feels pretty solid for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Oak Park. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in marketing. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Portland it's decent.
