Hey, It's a a smaller city city with about 55,201 people. With a population of 55,201, South Whittier is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here? Cheers.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 15 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much developing but now it's underrated.
