What to expect moving to South Yarmouth?

Been meaning to ask this. Military spouse here. With a population of 11,642, South Yarmouth is a small town. Poverty rate is 6.3%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is underrated in most areas.
