Internet providers in Southfield?

Hi all, Household incomes average around $65,848 in Southfield. With a population of 76,025, Southfield is a smaller city. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Anyone in a similar situation? Any help is appreciated.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely solid and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Raleigh, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much wild but now it's better than expected.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Fairview. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in legal. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Definitely worth checking out..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in tech. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
