Dog-friendly places in Southlake?

Alright, I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $957,500, which is pretty steep. It's a a smaller city city with about 31,044 people. Household incomes average around $250,001 in Southlake. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Should I be concerned? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 4 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Came here for family and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The cultural scene is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
