What I wish I knew before living in Southlake

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Been living here since 2017. You can expect to pay around $3,501 for rent here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks! Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in The Heights for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Close to major attractions
- The housing market scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
