Couple moving to Southport from out of state

Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are Homes are going for about $101,200 on average. Worth the trade-offs? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is better than expected in most areas.
