First time home buyer in Southwest Ranches

Curious what people think. With a population of 7,569, Southwest Ranches is a small town. Poverty rate is 0.6%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

The food scene here is surprisingly good. Tons of great Asian places. I love the pace of life here.

Moved here from Tampa about 13 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to public transit but Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
