Considering Spanish Fork vs Las Vegas -help me decide

Hi all, With a population of 43,632, Spanish Fork is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 4.4%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Spanish Fork sits at 17.2 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 43,632 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I overthinking this? Any help is appreciated. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 6 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
