Raising a family in Spanish Fort -thoughts?

The median home value here is around $314,000, which seems about average. Median household income is $101,574, which feels pretty solid for the area. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 9 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much pricey but now it's tough.
