As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much wild but now it's underrated.

I've lived in North for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- The public transit scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Urban sprawl is real
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in The Heights. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in consulting. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Indian.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in South area are tough. Kids love it here.
