Life in Sparks as a young professional

Hey everyone, I'm retired and It's a a mid-size city city with about 109K people. Median household income is $86,979, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $86,979 in Sparks. You can expect to pay around $1,651 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I've lived in Sunset for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The pet-friendliness scene is solid

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..
