I'm single, late 40s, and Rent is about $778/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $167,400 on average. Poverty rate is 7.0%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $61,630, which feels about average for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Would love some local perspective. Thanks in advance! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
