Random thought, I'm single, late 30s, and Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $1,043/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Any advice would be great. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
