OK so We have two kids and Rent is about $941/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $941 for rent here. Household incomes average around $59,731 in Spearfish. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Worth the trade-offs? Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
