Housing market in Sperry right now

First post here. I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $104,200, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $887/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Atlanta about 14 years ago. The main reasons were weather and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Four distinct seasons
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are affordable, gas is improving.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Hope this helps!.
