Day-to-day life in Spirit Lake, ID

Anyone else feel this way? It's a a small town city with about 1,768 people. Am I overthinking this? Thanks in advance!

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- The outdoor recreation scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 2 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
