Hello, It's a a mid-size city city with about 105K people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thanks for reading. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Moved here from Nashville about 2 years ago. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Still getting used to walkability but No regrets on my end..

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cost of living used to be much competitive but now it's challenging.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Westside for 5 years. Moved from Pittsburgh for cost of living. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is excellent. We bought in 2022 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.
**Employment:**
consulting is strong here. hospitality is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
I genuinely enjoy living here. The outdoor scene is tough - we have beaches within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Westside schools are excellent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Homeless population growing downtown. Far from beaches/mountains. And community vibe can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 8/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Greenfield. It's solid for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Asian.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

I've lived in Eastside for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The cultural scene scene is improving
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Sunset area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.
