Rent vs buy in Spokane Valley -what makes sense?

Random thought, Born and raised here. Median household income is $70,722, which feels about average for the area. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Should I be concerned?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 6 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
