Relocating to Spokane, WA — pros and cons?

I've lived in Old Town for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Affordable housing options
- The nightlife scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Definitely worth checking out..
