Hey everyone, Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Has anyone dealt with this?

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from San Diego about 6 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Active local events and festivals
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are wild, gas is pretty good.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from LA about 11 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is improving.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
