Anyone work in healthcare in Spout Springs?

Hey, I'm originally from Houston and Rent is about $1,794/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What do you all think? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Old Town. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in engineering. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
