How safe is Spring Hill really?

I've been looking at the stats and Spring Hill shows a violent crime rate of 571 per 100K which is above average. But stats don't always tell the full story. For people who actually live there — do you feel safe? Are there areas to avoid?

I'm especially interested in hearing from families with young kids.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is drive around neighborhoods at different times before committing. Makes a big difference.
