Is Spring Hill still affordable?

We're a young couple and Homes are going for about $248,400 on average. Average temperature is around 72°F, so it's warm year-round. Poverty rate is 9.2%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Plenty of shopping options
- Active local events

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Sprawl everywhere
- High property taxes
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Chain restaurants dominate

The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 2 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
