Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider — Spring Hill sits at 570.8 per 100K. It's a a mid-size city city with about 119K people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Has anyone dealt with this? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Southern places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Came here for weather and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The public transit is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much growing but now it's average.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
Hope this helps!.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.
I've been here 14 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Happy to answer more specific questions..
