Dog-friendly places in Spring Ridge?

Longtime lurker here, Crime rate is something to consider -Spring Ridge sits at 429.7 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I wrong here? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

I'm a teacher and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.

Came here for school and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The walkability is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in Riverside for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- The community vibe scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a accountant, 48, moved here 1 years ago from Phoenix. I've lived in East and Cedar Grove, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Cost of living is very reasonable
2. Friendly community, easy to meet people
3. Four distinct seasons
4. The people are generally hit or miss - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Limited high-paying job options
2. Far from beaches/mountains
3. The job market situation is pricey and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- East: Great for remote workers. challenging vibes, walkable.
- Cedar Grove: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Phoenix, everything felt improving. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are affordable. Gas is pricey. You can live comfortably on $60K-$140K here.

**Final verdict:**
Happy to answer more specific questions.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Minneapolis about 10 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are developing, gas is average.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Definitely worth checking out..

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.
