OK so I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $1,656 for rent here. Median household income is $86,888, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 70--F, so the weather is moderate. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Let me know your thoughts. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Hot take but the quality of life is solid. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from Miami about 2 years ago. The main reasons were weather and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Four distinct seasons
- Affordable housing options
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are affordable, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The pet-friendliness is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.
