What's it really like living in Spring Valley CDP (San Diego County)?

Been meaning to ask this. My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 6.2%, which is concerning. You can expect to pay around $2,114 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great. Appreciate any input. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
