Cost of living reality check -Springdale

So, I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $66,044 in Springdale. With a population of 87,388, Springdale is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 9.5%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $237,200, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $1,008 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Pros:
- Growing food scene
- Diverse community
- Easy commute
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Sprawl everywhere
- Far from major airports
- Limited cultural events
Would love some local perspective. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Bought a house here in 2024 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Atlanta it's surprisingly good.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great Indian places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
