Hello, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a smaller city city with about 87,388 people. Household incomes average around $66,044 in Springdale. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Any advice would be great. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a writer who relocated here from Austin about 12 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is pretty good.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 9 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is challenging.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
