Just moved to Springdale, any tips?

First post here. What are your go-to spots? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much wild but now it's surprisingly good.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals
- The cost of living scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Nightlife is limited

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
