Hey folks, We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $65,537 in Springfield. Homes are going for about $155,200 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Should I be concerned? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
