What's it really like living in Springfield?
Hey folks, Just moved here 11 months ago and Household incomes average around $65,537 in Springfield. Rent is about $945/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 11.2%, which is around average. It's a a mid-size city city with about 114K people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Worth the trade-offs? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
