Hi all, Military spouse here. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $155,200, which is actually reasonable. The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $945/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What would you do? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
