So, There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Any help is appreciated. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I've lived in South for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Close to major attractions
- Diverse dining options
- The safety scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Happy to answer more specific questions..

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Mediterranean places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much competitive but now it's better than expected.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.
