Is Springfield walkable?

Hey, I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $2,224 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Springfield sits at 11.7 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to Phoenix it's improving.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
