Alright, It's a a smaller city city with about 58,410 people. Household incomes average around $45,883 in Springfield. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What are your go-to spots? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much established but now it's pretty good.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 5 years here, that's my honest assessment.
