Curious what people think. My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. With a population of 58,410, Springfield is a smaller city. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective. Cheers. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
