Is Springfield still affordable?

I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $805 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. The city has invested a lot in new development. Should I be concerned?

The food scene here is solid. Tons of great Asian places. it's exactly what I was looking for.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Came here for work and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The weather is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
