Things that make Springfield unique

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 17.3%, which is higher than I expected. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $45,883 in Springfield. It's a a smaller city city with about 58,410 people. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The cost of living is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..

I work in marketing here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is underrated. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to San Francisco it's solid.
