Working remotely from Springs

First post here. I'm single, late 20s, and Median household income is $147,277, which feels pretty solid for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. What do you all think? Cheers.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. community vibe used to be much stable but now it's improving.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a nurse, 30, moved here 10 years ago from Baltimore. I've lived in Uptown and Pine Hills, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Lots of new development happening
2. Diverse dining options
3. Strong sense of community
4. The people are generally excellent - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Rising rent and home prices
2. Road conditions need improvement
3. The community vibe situation is manageable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Uptown: Great for young professionals. pretty good vibes, walkable.
- Pine Hills: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Baltimore, everything felt average. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are developing. Gas is competitive. You can live comfortably on $100K-$70K here.

**Final verdict:**
Happy to answer more specific questions.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
