Quick question about St. Charles

Hey everyone, Poverty rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,186 for rent here. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Let me know your thoughts. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Downtown area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

I've lived in Sunset for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- The traffic scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Definitely worth checking out..

Moved here from LA about 8 years ago. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Still getting used to pet-friendliness but Good luck with whatever you decide..
