Raising a family in St. Charles -thoughts?

Alright, Born and raised here. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for reading. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Downtown area are average. Kids love it here.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Phoenix it's better than expected.
