Been meaning to ask this. My partner and I are Household incomes average around $72,693 in St. Clair Shores. Crime rate is something to consider -St. Clair Shores sits at 180.2 per 100K. Rent is about $1,143/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. Any help is appreciated. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
