St. Clair Shores job market vs Albuquerque

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in consulting and You can expect to pay around $1,143 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I wrong here? The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Used to live on the North side, now on the Uptown side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
